About the Event

The National Stakeholders Summit (NSS) for the Minority Business Development Agency (MBDA) is an annual convening of key stakeholders to provide strategic direction for MBDA’s network of grant recipients.

MBDA will provide updates on the following:
  • New and existing innovate programs
  • New Initiatives as they relate to the President’s Management Agenda, The Department of Commerce and MBDA
  • Introduce Opportunity Zone Summit

The NSS also serves as a forum for the exchange of information on minority business development through general sessions, workshops and general networking activities.

About the MBDA

The MBDA is an Agency within the Department of Commerce authorized pursuant to Executive Order 11625 to promote the growth and competitiveness of minority business enterprises (MBEs). MBDA actively promotes the strategic growth and expansion of MBEs by offering management and technical assistance through a nationwide network of grant recipients funded by cooperative agreements (business centers and projects) and grants (BAA recipients and unsolicited proposals) with MBDA.
